2. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Latentry website or enrolling in any Programme, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not use the website or enrol in any Programme.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. By accepting this Agreement, you represent that these conditions are met.
3. Description of Services
Latentry provides online educational programmes in artificial intelligence development. Programmes are delivered primarily through live online sessions, with supplementary materials, exercises and feedback made available through the Platform.
Programmes are open to participants based in Malaysia and internationally, subject to payment processing availability in the participant's jurisdiction. Latentry reserves the right to decline enrolment at its discretion.
Schedules, session formats and programme content may change between cohorts. Enrolled participants will be notified of material changes affecting their current cohort with reasonable notice.
4. Platform Access and Account
Following enrolment, Latentry will provide access credentials for the Platform. You are responsible for keeping these credentials confidential. You must not share access with any third party.
Access to the Platform is limited to the duration of the enrolled Programme. Access may be suspended if there is evidence that credentials have been shared or that conduct on the Platform breaches Section 5 below.
5. Your Responsibilities
When participating in a Programme, you agree to:
- Engage with Content and exercises in good faith
- Submit only your own work for assessed exercises unless peer collaboration is explicitly specified
- Treat other participants and instructors with respect in live sessions and on the Platform
- Not record, screen-capture or reproduce session Content without written permission from Latentry
- Not upload, share or distribute Content obtained through the Programme to any third party or public forum
- Not use the Platform or Content in any way that breaches applicable Malaysian law or the laws of your jurisdiction
Breaches of these responsibilities may result in suspension or termination of access without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
All Content made available through Latentry Programmes, including curriculum structure, written materials, exercise specifications, feedback templates and session recordings, is the intellectual property of Latentry or its licensors. All rights are reserved.
Latentry grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Content for the purpose of participating in the Programme for which you are enrolled. This licence does not permit redistribution, republication or commercial use.
Work you produce as part of Programme exercises — including code, analyses and written submissions — remains your own. By submitting work for feedback, you grant Latentry a non-exclusive licence to review and comment on it for the purpose of delivering the Programme.
7. Fees and Payment
Programme fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Current fees are:
- Introductory Cohort: Data Handling and Baselines — RM 480
- Computer Vision Specialisation — RM 1,960
- MLOps and Deployment Programme — RM 4,380
Fees must be paid in full before cohort access is granted. Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider. Latentry does not store card details.
Withdrawal and refunds: A request for withdrawal and refund submitted before the second live session of a Programme will be considered. Requests must be sent in writing to [email protected] with your name, enrolment reference and reason for withdrawal. Refunds, if approved, will be processed within fourteen business days. No refund is available for withdrawal requests made after the second session has taken place.
8. Programme-Specific Terms
Completion records: A completion record is issued to participants who attend the minimum number of sessions specified for each Programme and submit all assessed exercises. Latentry does not represent that completion records confer any professional qualification or accreditation.
Academic integrity: Submitted exercises must represent your own work. Where peer review is part of the Programme structure, you must treat other participants' work with appropriate confidentiality and engage in good faith.
Infrastructure credits: GPU and cloud credits provided as part of a Programme are for educational use within that Programme only. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. Unused credits at the end of a Programme are forfeited.
Session recordings: Recordings of live sessions are made available to enrolled participants for the duration of the Programme and for thirty days after its conclusion. Access is then revoked.
9. Disclaimers
Latentry Programmes are provided for general educational purposes. Content is prepared with care but may not reflect the latest developments in a rapidly changing field. Latentry does not represent that Content is complete, error-free or current at any given time.
Participation in a Programme does not constitute a guarantee of any professional outcome, employment result or skill level. Learning outcomes depend on the effort and prior experience each participant brings to the Programme.
The website and Platform are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Latentry does not warrant uninterrupted access or the absence of technical faults.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Latentry's total liability arising out of or relating to a Programme shall not exceed the fee paid by you for that Programme.
Latentry is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including loss of profits, loss of data or loss of opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the website, the Platform or any Programme Content.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by Malaysian law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Latentry, its instructors, employees and contractors from any claims, losses or damages arising from your breach of this Agreement, your use of the Platform or Content, or your conduct during live sessions.
12. Termination
Latentry may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform and Programme with immediate effect if you breach any term of this Agreement, engage in conduct that disrupts sessions or the Platform, or fail to meet payment obligations.
You may withdraw from a Programme at any time. Refund eligibility is subject to the terms in Section 7. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11 and 13 of this Agreement survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia for the resolution of any dispute arising from this Agreement.
Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] to seek an informal resolution. We will attempt to respond to any complaint within ten business days.
14. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Latentry in relation to its subject matter.
- Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, with the remainder of the Agreement continuing in full effect.
- Waiver: Failure by Latentry to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without Latentry's prior written consent.
- Notices: Formal notices to Latentry must be sent to [email protected]. Notices to you will be sent to the email address provided at enrolment.
