1. Introduction
Latentry Sdn. Bhd. ("Latentry", "we", "us" or "our") operates the website at latentrym.pro and delivers AI development programmes to learners in Malaysia and internationally. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it.
We are committed to handling personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) ("PDPA") and, where applicable, other relevant data protection legislation.

2. Personal Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Identity data: full name, as provided at enrolment or via contact form.
- Contact data: email address and, optionally, phone number.
- Programme data: records of sessions attended, exercises submitted, feedback received and completion status.
- Payment data: transaction reference and payment status, as processed by our payment provider. We do not store card details.
- Usage data: pages visited, session duration and browser type, collected via analytics cookies where consent has been given.
We collect this data through:
- The enquiry and enrolment form on latentrym.pro
- Direct email and telephone communication
- The learning management platform used to deliver sessions
- Cookies, where consent is given (see Section 5)
Legal basis: We process identity and contact data on the basis of contract (to administer your enrolment and deliver the programme) and, where applicable, consent. We process usage data on the basis of consent only.
Retention: Enrolment records are retained for three years after programme completion. Contact enquiries where no enrolment follows are deleted after twelve months. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised after twenty-six months.
3. How We Use Personal Data
We use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
- Responding to enquiries and providing information about programmes
- Processing enrolments and administering access to sessions, materials and the learning platform
- Delivering written feedback on submitted exercises
- Issuing completion records at the end of a programme
- Sending administrative communications related to your active enrolment (schedule changes, platform updates)
- Processing payments through our payment provider
- Understanding how the website is used, in aggregate, to improve its content and structure
We do not use personal data for automated profiling or decision-making, and we do not send unsolicited marketing communications. If you wish to receive programme updates and cohort announcements by email, this requires your separate, affirmative consent.
Third-party sharing: We share data with our learning management platform provider and payment processor, both operating under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
4. How We Protect Personal Data
- Data in transit is protected by TLS encryption on all Latentry web properties.
- Access to enrolment records is restricted to Latentry staff with a legitimate need and to instructors for the cohort to which a learner is enrolled.
- Our learning platform provider maintains their own security programme. We review their practices when renewing the service agreement.
- In the event of a personal data breach affecting your data, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, where feasible and where notification is required by applicable law.
5. Cookies
We use cookies on latentrym.pro for two purposes: essential cookies, which keep the site functioning correctly, and optional analytics cookies, which help us understand how visitors use the site. Essential cookies are always active. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent.

6. Your Rights
Under the PDPA and applicable data protection law, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- Access: you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: you may ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: you may ask us to delete your personal data, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records.
- Portability: you may ask us to provide your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdrawal of consent: where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Department of Personal Data Protection (JPDP) in Malaysia.

8. Age Restriction
Latentry programmes are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 18. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post a notice on latentrym.pro and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
